Mario Matt Arabians is located in Flirsch, Austria; a small, idyllic village nestled against the backdrop of the Lechthaler Alps. We are situated at the foot of the world famous ski resort of St. Anton am Arlberg, a favorite meeting place for those in the ski community and for winter sports enthusiasts from all over the world. It is here that Mario Matt has been able to combine his two biggest passions. 

From the time that he was a child, Mario´s dream was to have a horse of his own. In 2002, that dream came true when the first mare was purchased. That led to the founding of Mario Matt Arabians and the development of the farm the following year. For us, the Arabian horse is one of the most beautiful and noble creatures on our Earth. They have an intelligent, gently courageous, very human-related character in addition to being the ideal partner as a riding horse, breeding horse, and show horse. 

It is very important to us that our horses are kept humanely; they live naturally in herds and enjoy fresh air and sunshine all day in generous fields and paddocks. Our sallion boxes are connected to outside paddocks of their own, allowing stallions the option to decide whether they prefer to be indoors or outdoors. The mental and physical wellbeing of the horses is our primary concern.
